‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Violet Saying Her Goodbyes To Her Family Was Heartbreaking – Can She Return To The Show At A Later Date?
‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that today was pretty rough saying goodbye to the little girl with a big heart, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
GH has been kind of a bummer lately. It will only worsen as we soon say goodbye to Sam McCall and Kelly Monaco. Not to mention Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as a couple.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: “To The Moon And Back”
Today’s episode in which Violet said goodbye to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was heartbreaking.
How could anyone not shed a tear when Violet and Brook Lynn said in unison that they loved each other “To the moon and back?” Tracy orchestrating their final tea party was a nice touch, but it would have been fun to see Tracy interact with Violet’s stuffed animals one more time.
We hope we get to see Violet again. She’s a beautiful and talented child. It was hard to watch her leave. Love has been on the show for the last five years, and we’ve come to love this sweet, adorable girl. Love, who may have been crying real tears, was painfully on point. Her farewell was bittersweet, for sure.
Violet is going to Seattle to live with her dad, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Finn, who recently got out of rehab for his alcoholism, is admittedly a good dad.
But if Finn ever falls off the wagon again, Violet may need the Quartermaines to care for her. Brook Lynn, Tracy, and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) would love her to stay with them again. That being said, it would be ideal if she returned to Port Charles with Finn, but we don’t know if that’s possible.
Easton is prime rib for another soap, and fans have been clamoring for him and Kelly Monaco to land new roles on a soap that appreciates their immeasurable talent.
We hope the same for Jophielle, too. However, selfishly, most of us love Violet too much not to hope she comes back to Port Charles one day.

Fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts about losing another beloved GH character. Some people think Violet’s departure from the show is a big mistake and want the show to fix it.
“You are an amazing actress,”
One fan addressed to Jophielle.
“I will miss seeing you on GH. I am not happy with the recent decisions GH is making. That said, I can’t wait to see you in other shows and hopefully the next episode of Will Trent.”
“I cried through her scenes with Tracy and Brook Lynn today,” a viewer exclaimed on Instagram. “I hope Violet is back soon, but I also wish Jophielle continued success in her career.”
Another fan wrote,
“Aww, Violet is leaving. I’m glad they didn’t kill Finn off, but I’m going to miss Violet. Wait til she comes back in three years SORAS’d.”

Former GH actress Jacquline Grace Lopez, who played Blaze (aka Allison Rogers), wrote on Instagram.
