General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, November 18 tease unexpected visits, sympathetic friends, and a mother’s fears.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is shocked by an unexpected visit, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is a sympathetic friend, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) fears she can’t get through something.
General Hospital Spoilers: Uncomfortable Situations
It looks like everyone is getting ready for Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) funeral, which puts Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) in an uncomfortable situation.
He tells Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) who he’s going to the funeral with, nothing is stopping his brother from going. Both Drew and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were married to Sam, and each has a child with her.
Since Drew isn’t sure what Jason slugged him over for sure, he’s obviously uncomfortable knowing he’ll be there. Nina looks concerned, and rightly so, since they’re mostly in the dark about what Jason really knows.
GH Spoilers: Unexpected Visits
Josslyn is taken aback as Port Charles University football star Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) shows up at the door of the apartment she and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) share.
He asks Joss if she thinks that Trina will give him the time of day, considering the contentious conversation they’d had at Volonino’s Gym.
Kai barely knows what classes he has since his main focus is sports, and he’s been MIA on an important class project he was assigned to with Trina.
Josslyn seems to have a bit of a hero worship complex over Kai, and can’t believe Trina wouldn’t snatch him up; Trina doesn’t want to look at him let alone date him!
General Hospital Spoilers: Sympathetic Friends
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) opens up to his old friend Cody, who is being a sympathetic friend in Dante’s time of loss-he tells Dante there’s nothing they can’t figure out together.
Dante is probably trying to figure out how he will make it through Sam’s funeral, when he’s nowhere near ready to let her go. On the other hand, there is still no word on exactly what happened that killed her after the liver donation.
Even though Cody tells Dante between the two of them they can figure out nearly anything, figuring out what killed Sam may not be one of them. For now, it’s just figuring out how to take one step at a time and live moment to moment without her for Dante.
GH Spoilers: A Mother’s Fears
At the Davis house, Alexis opens up to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and tells her she fears she doesn’t think she can get through this today. Obviously they are getting ready for Sam’s funeral, since they are both dressed in black.
There still are no answers as to what took Sam’s life, although they know she had a heart attack-they just don’t know why. She was in perfect health before donating a piece of her liver for Lulu Spencer, (Alexa Havins) and was fine one minute, not the next.
General Hospital Spoilers: TJ Tries To Support Molly
Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is also dressed in black, as TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) tries to support her. Apparently TJ didn’t even remember it was Molly’s birthday, as she confronts him with a sad “You know I needed you”.
TJ and Molly have been drifting apart since their baby’s funeral, and now it’s Molly’s sister’s funeral and Molly just had a birthday.
For Molly, it seems like TJ’s trying to support her now is perhaps too little too late. Will the stress of Sam’s death following baby Irene’s (Mazlyn) blow the couple apart?
GH Spoilers: Maxie Confronts Someone
Elsewhere, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) confronts someone, telling them she’ll be damned if she’s going to let someone get away with that! Whoever it is, she’s definitely angry with them for what they’re proposing to do.
Perhaps she’s talking to someone to whom Sam was near and dear to, and they’re considering staying home from her funeral. It will be a tearful goodbye for many and difficult to do so.
General Hospital Spoilers: Lucky Gets An Unexpected Offer
After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) sparred in the boxing ring at Volonino’s Gym, Sonny put a feeler out for a job for Lucky.
It sounds like the person he called has come to Bobbie’s looking for Lucky, as Lucky is puzzled and asks “Do I know you”? Apparently the person knows his name and who he’s looking for even if he doesn’t know Lucky in person!
Will Lucky accept the offer-will he be intrigued by the deal? More importantly, will it give him a reason to stay in Port Charles?
