Sister Wives’ stars Janelle Brown and Kody Brown’s daughter Madison Brush shared the sex of her fourth baby with Caleb Brush, noting that this pregnancy was a “surprise.”

The 29-year-old daughter of Sister Wives stars Janelle Brown and Kody Brown, who is pregnant with her and husband Caleb Brush’s fourth baby, shared they are expecting their third daughter. The little one will join big brother Axel, 7, as well as big sisters Evie, 5, Josephine, 21 months.
“Excited to share here that Baby Brush #4 will be another little girl!” Maddie wrote on Instagram Nov. 8 alongside a pic of her cradling her bump. “Still playing with some names, but Evie is over the moon, poor Axel is coming around to the idea and Joey has no idea what’s about to come. Caleb and I are just excited for a happy healthy girl and family.”
And as she shares updates about her pregnancy, she also recently revealed that baby No. 4 was actually not planned.
“This one was a surprise,” she said on her new podcast The Authentic Society‘s Nov. 4 episode. “We were getting ready to be done. Caleb was talking to a urologist, and I was like, ‘I’m pregnant.’”
The unplanned pregnancy and the fact that it is the reality star’s fourth kid made for a surreal experience.
“It was such a shock and such a surprise,” she admitted. “I feel like Joey just happened so I’ve just been pregnant for two years.”

However, Maddie said that she and her husband of eight years weren’t surprised or disappointed by the news they were having another girl.
“Caleb and I are nerdy, and we were kind of thinking it was probably going to be a girl,” she said, explaining, “Because most often, statistically, when you have two of one, you’re gonna have a third.”
However, there was one member of the family who wasn’t thrilled by the news, the couple’s sole son.
“Axel was very disappointed,” Maddie explained of her eldest. “Sobbing, crying, told us the next morning that he was going to pray that God changed this to a boy. And I was like, ‘Doesn’t work that way, buddy.’”
Maddie and Caleb will have some extra help this time around as excited grandma Janelle now lives part-time in North Carolina near their growing family.
“She’s been really, really such a good mom,” Janelle gushed of Maddie to E! News in October. “So I’m like, ‘You guys could really have a lot more if you want.’ And she’s like, ‘No, Mom. Four’s good.’”
However, the TLC star is still holding out hope, adding, “Please I’m here to help! Have as many as you want.”
